How Metrotechs collects, uses, and protects information submitted through the website, assessment platform, and business communications.

Effective date: May 1, 2025  ·  Last updated: May 16, 2026

1. Who We Are

Metrotechs is a digital transformation firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. We serve mid-market manufacturers in the Texas Triangle through our manufacturing intelligence platform, the Launchpad assessment and governance platform (app.metrotechs.io), and professional services engagements.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Metrotechs public website (metrotechs.io), the Launchpad platform (app.metrotechs.io), and all related business communications. It does not apply to client systems, data, or infrastructure we implement or manage on behalf of clients — those are governed by separate written agreements.

2. Information We Collect

Contact and inquiry data: When you submit a contact form, assessment request, or email us directly, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, job title, and any message content you provide.

Assessment data: When you use the Launchpad assessment platform, we collect operational and organizational details you enter as part of the assessment process. This information is used to generate your assessment results and roadmap.

Usage and analytics data: We collect standard web analytics data including pages visited, referral sources, browser type, device type, approximate geographic location, and session duration. This data is collected in aggregate and used to improve content and site performance.

Server and security logs: Our hosting infrastructure automatically logs IP addresses, request timestamps, and error events for operational security and troubleshooting purposes.

Communications: If you communicate with us by email or other means, we retain those records as part of our normal business operations.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: respond to inquiries and business communications; deliver and improve the Launchpad assessment and roadmap platform; personalize content and recommendations based on the page you're reading or the assessment you've completed; measure and improve website content and performance; maintain the security and integrity of our systems; and fulfill legal and compliance obligations.

We do not use your information to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or engage in behavioral tracking for marketing purposes beyond our own communications.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We may share data with service providers that help us operate the website and platform. These include hosting and infrastructure providers (AWS), email and communications platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems. These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or valid legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Metrotechs, our clients, or others.

If Metrotechs is acquired or merges with another entity, business contact information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected parties before information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and session management. Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and navigation. Session cookies maintain your state while using the Launchpad platform.

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Launchpad assessment platform.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or participate in cross-site behavioral tracking networks.

6. Data Retention

We retain business inquiry and contact records for as long as needed to support an ongoing business relationship or respond to follow-up communications, typically up to three years after last contact.

Assessment data is retained for as long as you maintain an account on the Launchpad platform, and for a reasonable period afterward to support re-engagement or follow-up requests.

Analytics and server logs are retained for up to 13 months.

You may request deletion of your records at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, and request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days.

8. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our infrastructure runs on AWS with encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and automated monitoring.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we apply commercially reasonable protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed at business professionals and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or business operations. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
