We are looking for a skilled and dedicated PHP Developer to join our team at Metrotechs. As a PHP Developer, you will collaborate with our clients, designers, and development team to build robust, scalable, and efficient web applications. You’ll be responsible for transforming client requirements and project specifications into clean, well-documented code that delivers exceptional performance across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Development & Programming: Write clean, secure, and efficient PHP code following best practices and coding standards.
- Database Management: Design and optimize MySQL databases, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity across applications.
- API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance application functionality.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver cohesive web solutions.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, debug applications, and optimize performance based on user feedback and analytics.
- Client Communication: Present technical solutions, project updates, and development progress to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven work experience as a PHP Developer or in a similar backend development role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your PHP development projects, demonstrating your coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on creating efficient, scalable solutions.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with designers, project managers, and other developers.
